Celebrating Lag B'Omer

Despite the unpredictable weather, we managed to pull off a wonderfully exciting indoor "Field Day". The children exercised their gross motor skills as they jumped, balanced, tossed, danced, threw and more! In our classrooms, the children built "fires" and "roasted" marshmallows. For snack we ate baked potatoes. Some classes also built caves and pretended to study in hiding just like Rabbi Akiva! We had an amazing few days celebrating this often overlooked holiday.
