The Box Week Museum is Open!
Every year, Box Week is a very special week of exploration and imagination for the Early Childhood Center. All of the toys are removed from the classrooms and replaced with boxes of all shapes and sizes. Originally introduced through an imaginative story, This Is Not A Box by Antoinette Portis, the children used their creativity and imagination to transform ordinary boxes into wonderful designs. This year the children were obsessed with vehicles...mainly rocket ships! Here

Celebrating Tu B' Shevat
🌳 Our ECC children enjoyed learning all about Tu B’Shevat, the Birthday of the Trees, through hands-on and meaningful experiences. They created art projects, explored trees by feeling bark and textures, counted the rings of a tree, planted seeds, and worked together to create tree webs, learning how trees are connected to people, animals, air, water, and the earth. Through discussion and collaboration, they discovered how trees give us shade, oxygen, fruit, and beauty—and ho

Celebrating the Lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Along the way, we’ve also talked about the importance of saying “thank you” and

Leaves, pumpkins, acorns and more!
Fall invites us to discover the natural world through our own curiosities. As we walk outside together, we may notice the crunch of leaves under our feet, the scent of the fresh fall air, or the sound of acorns falling. Perhaps we’ll wonder where the squirrels are going, or what happens to the leaves as they change color. By using our senses and following our questions, we can explore autumn and the stories nature is telling all around us.

Through stories, discussions, and creative activities, the children have been learning about the wonders of creation , the magic of rainbows , the importance of Shabbat , and the idea of pairs as seen in the story of Noah’s Ark. It’s been a beautiful opportunity for the students to connect with these foundational Torah stories and discover the values
