Celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut

What a day of celebration we had at school today! We cut up tomatoes and cucumbers to make Israeli salad; we blended chick peas to make our hummus; we sampled pita bread from our local Israeli market; and we took our annual "trip" to Israel. We've learned so much over the past week about Israel and its flag. Here is a look at our learning and programming. We hope it will make you want to visit Israel as much as we do!
