This year, we were fortunate to celebrate Lag B’Omer with beautiful weather, giving the children the perfect opportunity to head outdoors and flex their muscles while strengthening their gross motor and core skills. The outdoors was filled with excitement as the children explored a variety of activities including basketball, hula hoops, balancing stones, potato sacks, frisbees, jump ropes, and more.
To continue the celebration, Morah Heather prepared delicious roasted potatoes for snack, which many of the classes ate outside picnic style. Some of the classes also created their own pretend “fires” in the classroom and had fun “roasting” marshmallows together. It was a joyful day filled with movement, creativity, and meaningful Lag B’Omer experiences.
