Where are the bears?

With the end of winter nowhere in sight, our 3's classes have been wondering about where all the animals go during the winter. This question led the teachers to start a discussion about hibernation. Using books and web searches, the children researched the meaning of hibernation and which animals hibernate during the winter. The kids were most intrigued by the different kinds of bears and where they hibernate. Here is a look into what they've been doing in their classrooms...
